We’ve designed Service Element to handle just about any type of service business. At the core of all successful service businesses are the same processes and Service Element makes these processes easy to manage. How can I subscribe?

Signing up for your subscription is easy and only takes a couple of minutes to get up and running. Go to our order page and fill out our sign-up form.

What forms of payment can I use when subscribing to Service Element?

We currently accept the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal.

Will I need to install any software to run Service Element?

One of the great features of Service Element is that there is nothing to install on your computer. Our application is web-based, so the only application you need to use our software is a web browser (Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer).

What is the recommended Web Browser to run Service Element?

We have tested Service Element with Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer on computers running Microsoft Windows XP and Apple OS X. We recommend Mozilla Firefox as this browser is free and available for Microsoft Windows XP - Vista, Apple OS X as well as Linux.

Is it safe to use an Online, Web-based Management Solution?

Service Element utilizes some of the most advanced technologies for Internet security available today. When you access our site using Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6.0 or higher, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects your information using both server authentication and data encryption, ensuring that your data is safe, secure, and available only to registered Users in your organization.

Service Element provides you with a unique user name and password that must be entered each time a User logs on. Service Element issues a session "cookie" only to record encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific session. The session "cookie" does not include either the username or password of the user. Service Element does not use "cookies" to store other confidential user and session information, but instead implements more advanced security methods based on dynamic data and encoded session IDs.

In addition, ServiceElement.com is hosted in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders.

How quickly will I be able to access Service Element after I have subscribed?

You will be able to access Service Element immediately after you have finished the registration process. Once you have subscribed your username and password will be sent to the email address used during the registration process along with the URL for logging in.

Is there training available?

We’ve designed Service Element to be very intuitive but we didn’t stop there. We also programmed helpful tips, definitions and instructions to help you get the most out of Service Element. We are also working on Screencasts and Video Tutorials and will make these available as soon as they are complete. Here is an example of how a tip might appear in Service Element. How is my data stored?

Your data is stored using the latest technology in redundancy and security. In addition, Service Element.com is hosted in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technologies to prevent interference or access from outside intruders.

Can I save my data on my computer?

You can easily save your data at any time. Once logged into Service Element, navigate to the options page and select Export Data. Here you will be able to choose individual pieces of data or all data to download. All data is provided in spreadsheet format.

How do I upgrade to Service Element Pro?

Service Element Pro is currently in development. Once the Professional version is complete, a link will be provided within Service Element for existing users to upgrade. Service Element Pro is a more advanced version with more features and benefits. Please see our product / feature matrix for details.
